Phentrimine - Healthy weight loss

If you wish to combat excess weight safely, go with Phentrimine. Phentrimine is a scientifically formulated diet pill and is not a mixture of herbal ingredients whose effects are doubtful.

Eating less is the very nature of dieting and the only way to lose weight is to take in less than you burn for energy. The most critical factor of eating less is controlling your appetite.

Phentrimine's Advanced Formula is designed to produce similar effects as that of the most popular prescription medications to suppress appetite effectively.

Powerful ingredients - Advanced Formula

Phentrimine's primary ingredient is a sympathomimetic amine, meaning it mimics norepinephrine, which elevates metabolic rate, increases fat mobilization, and increases energy levels.

1,3-dimethylpentylamine works through a similar pathway as ephedrine, causing an increase in cAMP (the chemical messenger that triggers fat release and provides potent appetite suppression and thermogenic action).

This is a true Ephedra replacement with its smooth, long lasting energizing effects.

By affecting the uptake and release of various catecholamines (norepinephrine, epinephrine, and dopamine), 1,3 d can safely promote mental stimulation, mood enhancement, energy production, and bronchiole dilation while suppressing appetite.

1,3,7 trimethylxanthine is a competitive inhibitor of the enzyme cAMP (cyclic AMP) phosphodiesterase (cAMP-PDE), which converts cyclic AMP in cells to its noncyclic form, allowing cAMP to build up in cells. Cyclic AMP participates in the messaging cascade produced by cells in response to stimulation by epinephrine, so by blocking its removal, 1,3,7 T intensifies and prolongs the effects of epinephrine and epinephrine-like drugs such as amphetamine, methamphetamine, or methylphenidate.

Phentrimine will curb your hunger so effectively that you just can't eat. You will feel full, energized and satisfied for hours.

jittery and self conscious - need advice!
June 17, 2009 at 12:10 am

Hi all - I'm new to Phen, but so far on day 11 have already lost 9 pounds. Woo hoo! However, I feel very shaky and self conscious, as if everyone know I'm acting odd... also, my lips and chin feel a little funny and extra tense, as if I am frowning. Is this a normal side effect? I'm looking forward to feeling better. Also, I'm going on a trip out of state right about 4 days after my dr. would give me a refill, and I don't really want everyone in my extended family to know what I am taking, so I either need to get it refilled earlier or just stop taking it for the 10 days, but I'm scared about the supposed depression I might get if I stop Phen... is this likely to happen if I've been taking it less than 30 days? Please share your advice and experience! Thanks.

weight loss stall.. help!
June 16, 2009 at 11:18 pm

Hello all,

I have been taking phentermine on and off for about 2 years or so. I told myself I was going to stick to the diet this time and read the advice on this forum to help me get along. I have been taking phentermine 37.5 and usually lose about 10 pounds in 2 weeks (probably mostly water weight). This time, things are a bit different. I will label them.

1) I started taking 50mg 5-HTP twice daily; once in the morning and in the evening, usually after a meal

2) Taking 400mcg of GTF Chromium after breakfast

3) My phentermine is made from a different manufacturer. The tablet used to be more oblong and the blue specks were darker. This new tablet is fatter and the blue specs are light. I am getting the same side effects as the previous tablets; like dry mouth, pimples, and headaches.

After 2 weeks of working out and dieting, the scale has not dropped 1 pound. Can the combination of 5-htp and phentermine be stalling my weight loss? chromium? Anybody try this manufacturer of phen.?

First Week Side Effects
June 16, 2009 at 9:16 pm

Today is only day 2 for me, but I am very excited and optimistic about taking Phen. I have experienced terrible headaches, a little light-headedness, and a little nausia these past two days. On a positive note, I have not been hungry, so I am hopeful if I can make it through the first week that this will work for me. How long does it typically take your body to get adjusted to Phen and stop experiencing the negative side effects?
Thanks,

Week 2 , still loss weight but not as much .
June 16, 2009 at 9:13 pm

O.K my 2nd week was ok im down to 245 but im wondering is my phen wearing off or something. Im not hungry and when i eat i am soooo full after 2 bites , i think this week im going to start excercising and see what results i have next week.

Im back!
June 16, 2009 at 8:59 pm

After a week with out phentermine I gained 10 pounds even though I continued to diet and exercise. He checked my thryoid and it was fine. Im not sure why I continued to gain weight. he gave me a refill on my phentermine and this time he gave me a depressant. I think that will help alot. I just hope when i get to my weight loss goal that i wont gain it all back. If i do then there must be something wrong with my metoblism or something. My body likes to retain water even though I dont eat salt and all I drink is water. Well I hope everyone is doing great.

Wanna chat??

Slow losing...is this normal?
June 16, 2009 at 5:32 pm

I have been on Phen for about 5 weeks now. I have only lost 9 lbs. I keep seeing all of these weight loss posts and I can't figure out why I have been so slow to lose. UGH!

I started taking the 37.5 Phen (blue & white specks) which worked great and then switched to the 30 Yellow Caps (A160). Anyone have experience with the A160's? Maybe they aren't working that well for me. I don't know. I'm beginning to get discouraged but am trying my best not to.

FYI I work out 5-6 days a week doing cardio and weights 2-3 days. Eat super clean, mostly fruits and veggies and proteins. Please help.

How many of you---
June 16, 2009 at 5:05 pm

----- feel that phen is not just an appetite suppressant but also a metabolism booster? Does that explain the larger amount of weight lost as compared to someone who just diets and exercizes without phen? Thanks.:)

One Month Weigh in was today....
June 16, 2009 at 3:00 pm

I went for my one month weigh in with my doctor today... down 15 pounds!!! My doctor was so excited for me and said that I look great and to keep it up. She wants me to be down another 10-15 pounds by next month's weigh in with her!! I really want to be down to at least 200 lbs by Christmas (going to Minnesota to meet my boyfriend's family, yikes!) Hope everyone is having a fabulous day, I know I am! :)

*Summer Safety*

Babies under 6 months:
The two main recommendations from the AAP to prevent sunburn are to avoid sun exposure, and dress infants in lightweight long pants, long-sleeved shirts, and brimmed hats that shade the neck to prevent sunburn. However when adequate clothing and shade are not available, parents can apply a minimal amount of suncreen with at least 15 SPF (sun protection factor) to small areas, such as the infant's face and the back of the hands. If an infant gets sunburn, apply cold compresses to the affected area.

For Young Children:
Apply sunscreen at least 30 minutes before going outside, and use sunscreen even on cloudy days. The SPF should be at least 15 and protect against UVA and UVB rays.

For Older Children:
The first, and best, line of defense against the sun is covering up. Wear a hat with a three-inch brim or a bill facing forward, sunglasses (look for sunglasses that block 99-100% of ultraviolet rays), and cotton clothing with a tight weave.
Stay in the shade whenever possible, and limit sun exposure during the peak intensity hours - between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Use a sunscreen with an SPF of 15 or greater. Be sure to apply enough sunscreen - about one ounce per sitting for a young adult.
Reapply sunscreen every two hours, or after swimming or sweating.
Use extra caution near water, snow, and sand as they reflect UV rays and may result in sunburn more quickly.

HEAT STRESS IN EXERCISING CHILDREN
The intensity of activities that last 15 minutes or more should be reduced whenever high heat and humidity reach critical levels.
At the beginning of a strenuous exercise program or after traveling to a warmer climate, the intensity and duration of exercise should be limited initially and then gradually increased during a period of 10 to 14 days to accomplish acclimatization to the heat.
Before prolonged physical activity, the child should be well-hydrated. During the activity, periodic drinking should be enforced, for example, each 20 minutes, 5 oz of cold tap water or a flavored sports drink for a child weighing 90 lbs, and 9 oz for an adolescent weighing 130 lbs, even if the child does not feel thirsty.
Clothing should be light-colored and lightweight and limited to one layer of absorbent material to facilitate evaporation of sweat. Sweat-saturated shirts should be replaced by dry clothing.
Practices and games played in the heat should be shortened and more frequent water/hydration breaks should be instituted.

Doc in Baltimore, MD ???

Does anyone know an internal medicine doctor in Baltimore, MD that will prescribe Phen? Thanks

Some advice for a Newby...
June 16, 2009 at 12:39 pm

I just began taking Phentermine on June 12, 2009. My doctor prescribed 15 mg pills twice a day along with a multivitamin. His recommendation was that I take the pill at 10 a.m. and then again at 4:00 p.m. However, after reading that many people have trouble sleeping, I decided to take it earlier in the day 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. He also gave me a 1,000 calorie diet to follow, but I find myself feeling starved througout the day, especially at night. Will the Phentermine eventually work to deter my hunger and if so how long should it take? I have also been feeling anxious, but expected this side effect as I understand it is a very common one that I hope will also gradually get better as I get used to the Phen. Any feedback would be very encouraging, thank you! :) I am so excited to lose the weight and just feel good again!

I colapsed this morning
June 16, 2009 at 12:39 pm

I got up, had a banana and a v8, went out on the porch and was basking in the sun, I felt a big cat stretch coming on so I reached my arms up above my head, ....and blackness ......and fuzziness .....and plunk.
Weird, huh? I was just a little light headed
I hadn't take my medicine yet, either
Not sure if it's worth calling my dr., I see him friday
I'm fine now.
I just feel a little weak.
Just to be safe, I'm not taking my phen today.
I was thinking, my BP has been dropping, but I'm still on my blood pressure medicine, maybe it was too low (it's usually lower in the morning).

Has this happened to anyone else???

Is this your first time on a diet pill?
June 16, 2009 at 11:21 am

Is this the first time that you are on diet pills or have you been on them before? If you have been on them before what caused you to gain the weight back?

For me I have been on diet pills since I have been 17 on and off. It started with an old time doctor that felt every women should be stick thin and he put me on them without asking when I weighted 135 lbs at 5' 5". That was almost 30 yrs ago and at that time they used Tenuate. I went down to 103 and I didn't look good at all but he thought I was great. This caused me to used them off and on for almost 10 yrs until right before I got pregnant with my first son.. After my first baby which I gained almost 100 lbs and after breastfeeding I went to a diet doctor and was put on black beauties (another diet pill) I was able to get back down to 105 in six months losing over 100 lbs but I could only eat 800 cal a day and that counted drinking also and I fasted 2 x's a week. I also rode the bike 14 miles a day. It was crazy and I became obsessed. No way to live. I later stopped riding the bike and I just relied on diet pills. I maintained 118-124 lbs. I didn't take them everyday but I used them when needed for a couple of years.

After my second son was born which once again I gained a lot of weight. After I was done breastfeeding I went to another Doctor and was put on the yellow jackets which is what the doctor called them. I got down to 155 (I only went to this doctor for 3 months) and just stayed there until about 5 yrs ago when my thyroid started to act up and I got sick. This is the highest weight I have been since I was 9 months pregnant. When they put me on steroids I really ballooned up.

This is the first time that I have tried Phentermine. I was given 37.5 but I break them in half. I'm hoping to get down to goal and then since my thyroid is now under control and I am off steroids I hope to be able to maintain that weight. I have curves and I look the best at 135-140. I'm also at the age of the start of menopause so I guess we will see what happens. I'm hoping with proper diet and power walking I will be able to regain my health and maintain my weight. I'm hoping to have 50 lbs off by November.
